Kaitlyn Soloway

 Always a mover, Kaitlyn Soloway started dancing at three years old with her earliest dance training in Chicago. She continued dancing at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor graduating from the School of Music, Theatre & Dance with highest honors. While at the University of Michigan, she performed in works by Shannon Gillen, Meredith Monk, Jawole Willa Jo Zolar, Ron DeJesús and many others. Kaitlyn also performed in the opera Candide directed by Matthew Ozawa with choreographers Todd Rhoades and Ann Evans Watson. She was the choreographer for Let the Right One In, directed by James Harbaugh, Jr. and for University of Michigan’s a cappella group, The Sopranos.

Her award winning choreography has been recognized by University of Illinois, the American College Dance Association (“ACDA”) and Dance Chicago. Over the years, she has danced and trained with River North Dance Company, DanceWorks Chicago, Movement Invention Project, Axis Connect, Gibney Dance Company and Marcat Dance.

Currently based in New York City, Kaitlyn continues training at PMT, Broadway Dance Center, Steps, Peridance and Gibney. She most recently was seen performing in Broadway Bares XXX in Passing the Torch choreographed by Laya Barak and Kellen Stancil. She also has danced for Creative Streak Entertainment most recently at the Tin Building Grand Opening choreographed by Josh Assor and Cori Jo Swanson. Dancing in a variety of commercials and festivals, Kaitlyn continues her love to perform.

Kaitlyn continues to teach at Broadway Dance Center in the Children and Teen Program as well as for Creativities Studio NY. With a love of performance, Kaitlyn has worked on Seasons 4 and 5 of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. A dancer, choreographer, teacher and performer, Kaitlyn loves to share her passion for the arts. She is excited to be dancing with PMT Dance Company this season!
