Sofia Talarico

Sofia grew up in rural Illinois until the age of ten, when she moved to the Central Coast of California. Since September 2022, she has become a NYC-based singer & actress. Sofia was classically trained in both piano and voice since middle school, and later traveled with children’s choirs to perform in London and Canterbury. In high school, she participated in the International Fringe Festival in Scotland as “Audrey” in Little Shop of Horrors.

After that, she began to take a serious interest in musical theater, and recently graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of California, Irvine in June 2022. While at UC Irvine, she participated in original musical theater works, completed her senior thesis on Fitzmaurice Voice work technique influences on the chakras, and played “The Witch” in Into the Woods. She also enjoyed being a professional Christmas Caroler in Los Angeles county, singing in a cappella quartets with the “Goode Time Carolers” for venues such as Club 33, Disneyland.

She is grateful to be collaborating with PMT Dance Company, and looks forward to her future moments on stage to be a living mirror for people to remember that it’s okay and good to laugh, cry, and dream.
