Though Andy Needham was born and raised in Manhattan, he didn’t start dancing until the age of 19 at Cornell University. While at first dancing recreationally, he soon found a great passion for movement and began to practice religiously in his free time. When he graduated three years later, his training only increased as he was exposed to NYC’s rich dance culture, something he felt he missed out on growing up. Now he constantly pushes himself outside of his comfort zone, and wants to learn foundation in all styles. In January of 2021, he began to assist Pavan Thimmaiah in class and soon began dancing with the company as well.

Since graduating college, he has performed for the Nick Cannon show, the Dance Studio Alliance Showcase, Sybarite, as well background danced for two music videos choreographed by Vive Khamsingsavath. He is very happy with the progress he was made, however seeks to maintain a “beginner’s” mindset, in hopes to continue his growth as a dancer in the coming years.
