Abby Huskisson

 Abby Huskisson is a singer, dancer, actress, director, and vocal music teacher located in Manhattan. Originally from Chicago, Abby has been training and performing from a young age. She studied Vocal Music Education and Musical Theatre at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Abby has sung in notable venues regionally and internationally such as Austria, Italy, and France. She also had the opportunity to study opera in Milan, Italy under the direction of Patrizia Zanardi. Other notable coaches include Julia Mendelsohn, Aimee Beckmann-Collier, and Christine Blanner.

Abby has worked with hundreds of children and young adults as a vocal coach, stage director, choreographer, conductor, and music/drama teacher. Some of her favorite shows she has directed include Descendants, Moana Jr., You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, and Mary Poppins Jr. Abby is committed to sharing her passion and joy for music with the creative minds of her students. Her goal is to cultivate a space where students of all backgrounds feel empowered to express and be themselves. 

Abby feels so grateful to have found PMT and for the beautiful people she has met and for the opportunities they have given her to sing, dance, and train.
