Growing up in Davao City, Philippines, Ramon took his first dance lessons in school at the young age of 6. Performing in school plays his skills were honed and much improved when he was casted as a member of a famous group of dancers in Davao City, the Rhythmic Illusions. He was exposed to public shows such as in local television and in the shows at the local Malls wherein his group were always called to be back up dancers for famous artists, and do intermission numbers. His skills were later put to use when he became an aerobics instructor at one of the prestigious hotels in Davao City, the Marco Polo Hotel, wherein he was discovered and casted to do a T.V. Fitness show for a local television station. He also did cameos as a host in local noon time TV shows. He then came to New York City to pursue his career as a Nurse and is currently the MDS Coordinator of the facility he works in. But his passion for dancing never died. He joined a workshop at Alvin Ailey Extension under the choreography of Pavan Thimmaiah, and also did workshops at PMT Dance Studio, where he was casted in his first ever dance company in New York City. He continues to strive to improve his passion for dancing under the supervision of Pavan Thimmaiah which has been his mentor for 3 years.
